International CoDA Convention (ICC) - Workshops

The International CoDA Convention (ICC) is a time and place for codependents to meet to celebrate and further their recovery. Newcomers and old timers attend workshops and enjoy hearing speakers share their experience, strength and hope of CoDA Recovery. The 2024 Convention theme is "Strong, Precious and Free"! Please join us for a fantastic weekend!

Who can attend?

Everyone can attend the ICC.

• Those in attendance come to further develop and focus on recovery and join in fellowship.

How to attend?

The 2024 Convention is IN-PERSON only this year.

This year's International CoDA Convention in July will be in-person only. The Workshops and Speakers will be recorded and posted at a later date; however, no live virtual streaming / attendance is available this year. A separate Virtual ICC will take place in the Fall of 2024.

What are the registration options & cost to attend?

VIP ATTENDANCE(Two Meals and Speakers/Workshops)

• Early Bird before 5/1/24: $125.00 ($USD)
• After 5/1/24: $150.00 ($USD)

WORKSHOP ATTENDANCE ONLY

• Early Bird before 5/1/24: $50.00 ($USD)
• After 5/1/24: $75.00 ($USD)

Refund Policy

• 7 days before event - full refund - less $10 processing fee
• 6 days before event - 50% refund
• 5 days or less prior to event - No refund

Please note that the refund policy will be strictly endorsed this year. If you would like to submit for refund based on the dates outlined above, please email events@coda.org and indicate "ICC Refund Request" in the email subject line. A refund request form will be provided for you to complete for refund review and consideration. In case of cancellation after the deadlines listed above, any money that is not refunded will be used as a Seventh Tradition donation.

VIP ATTENDANCE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING MEALS:

Saturday Night Dinner - join fellow attendees for delicious food and mealtime fellowship before the Keynote Speaker.

Sunday Morning Breakfast - as you process all the wonderful information received, gather for breakfast in continued recovery and fellowship before our final speaker and closing ceremony.

Meals tickets will not be sold outside of registration (no tickets will be sold at the event).

Saturday Night Dinner Menu

Taste of Italy Buffet: Traditional minestrone soup; Freshly baked focaccia; Panzanella salad w/ tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onion, basil & mozzarella, red wind vinaigrette; Classic romaine Caesar salad, garlic croutons, smoked bacon bits & parmesan. Oregano rubbed chicken w/ artichokes, portabella mushrooms, kalamata olives, smoked tomato sauce. Catch of day w/ herb fennel beurre Blanc; Cheese tortellini w/ sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, zucchini, basil rose sauce; Olive oil tossed fresh market vegetables w/ torn basil. Tiramisu squares & sweet ricotta cannoli.

Sunday Morning Breakfast Menu

Classic Breakfast Buffet: Scrambled eggs; Smoked bacon; Country pork sausages; Breakfast potatoes; Freshly baked mini breakfast pastries & bagels; Butter, fruit preserves & cream cheese; Assorted dry cereals & granola; Selection of dried fruit & nuts; Individual yogurts; Seasonal sliced fruit.

Both buffet meals will include gluten free, dairy free and vegan labeled offerings that will allow the assembly of a nutritious plate that accommodates these dietary restrictions or preferences.

Interpretation Needed?

The Speaker and Workshop presentations will be presented in English.

If a language other than English is needed, securing interpretation / translation services for Speaker and Workshop presentations at ICC is the responsibility of the attendee. Location Information: Located in Downtown Ottawa, Delta Hotels Ottawa City Center offers guests modern accommodation with a new club lounge, dining on site, large indoor pool, and a prime downtown location near Parliament Hill and Sparks Street.
